PCB Sunbird Condo

THE SUNBIRD BACK BETTER THAN EVER. 

Our Sunbird condo is privately owned, 1bedroom, 1 bath and 609 sq. ft, vacation rental located on the 8th floor with fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico from our private balcony. 

As of May 2025, Cash is no longer accepted. Parking passes and wristbands must be paid for with credit, debit or tap-to-pay.

Amenities & Accommodations

The living room and bedroom both have cable on our Smart TVs and ceiling fans. See our guest book on the welcome letter for any issues with TV controls. Our kitchen is fully stocked with with dishes, pots and pans. 1 set of towels PER GUEST is provided during your stay, so be sure to be accurate on your guest count. You may wish to bring extra towels for your stay including beach towels. We have a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the Living Room. Sofa bed is not made up, but linens are in left drawer of bed base towards head of the bed nearest bathroom. There are starter sets of dish soap, shampoo, toilet paper for when you first arrive. Normally there will be coffee filters, but can't guarantee as we place a lot when we visit in the cabinet. Due to smart TVs in LR and BR, we have removed our Blue-ray players. Also, since most people have cell service, we have removed our MagicJack. If you don't have a cell, you can usually make free calls via facebook Messenger or set up google voice to name a few options.

Our A/C will shut down if doors are left open to prevent damage. This normally happens after 5 minutes. Should you notice the A/C not shutting down, please manually turn off until doors are closed.

Laundry rooms are across from the elevators on the 1st floor in both towers. Each room has 4 each of washers and dryers. Highly recommend the app that you will find directions for in the laundry rooms. There are instructions for an app to download for the laundry room that is very convenient. Pay via the app and show what are in use.

Charcoal grills are located on the 1st floor near the pool bathrooms of the east and west towers.

Activities:(On site) The Beach, Tennis, Shuffleboard, 3 pools with one heated seasonally. (Nearby) Miniature Golf, Arcades, Zoo, Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling. Diving, Waterskiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Parasailing, Jet Skiing and parks such as Frank Brown which holds concerts and sporting event. Enjoy a game of golf across the street or at one of the many nearby courses. At the end of the day, sit back and enjoy the breathtaking sunset from your private balcony as it does not face the other tower which is what sold us on purchasing our condo in 2004. 

Pineapple Willys is located directly next door through a shared gate. No need for a car when going there.

Weekly rates include all rental fee taxes as we will cover the tax cost. This is a 13% SAVINGS. Monthly rates available November through February.

Stays longer than one week, but less than one month can use the code for a discount on the extra days over a week located at bottom of rates schedule.

Stays over 3 weeks will require cleaning 2 cleanings. One mid stay and other at then end of stay. PLEASE NOTE: DAMAGE INSURANCE IS REQUIRED, BUT TRAVEL INSURANCE IS NOT. Please hit decline for travel insurance if you don't want it.

Rental Policies and Conditions

Payments Accepted: Credit Cards, Online Checks, Bank Transfers.

Our condo is non smoking/vaping, No Pets, Renter needs to be at least 25 with a maximum amount of guests of 4. 

PLEASE NOTE: There will be an immediate eviction for people bringing their pets with NO REFUNDS. Same for more than 4 guests.

Upon arrival, you will need to register at the COA office. $30 parking, $6 wristbands for ages 12 and up. These fees include all taxes and is subject to change.

15% rental installment is due upon booking along with the damage insurance, though the damage insurance may not be charged until one year from arrival if booking is made more than 1 year before arrival. The remaining 85% is due 3 weeks before arrival, You can request that we do payments to break up the final payment on your initial request as we always email to make sure we there are no questions. Please be sure to mention if you want this so we can adjust payments before approving the reservation. These payments will be equal monthly installments unless otherwise requested.
